According to the "Nanhu Release" news, on the morning of September 27th, the launch ceremony of the Hu Na Energy Sodium Ion Battery and System Project was held. The project plans to have a total investment of 11 billion yuan and a land area of 504.7 acres. After reaching production capacity, it will form an annual production scale of 20GWh sodium ion battery cells and modules, as well as 1.5GWh lithium-ion battery modules.

The project is located on the southwest side of the intersection of Qixian Road and Zhuangbo Road in Nanhu, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. It will be implemented in two phases. The first phase of the project covers an area of about 154.7 acres, with a total investment of about 2 billion yuan. After reaching production capacity, it will form an annual production scale of 4GWh sodium ion battery cells and modules, and 1.5GWh lithium-ion battery modules. The annual output value is about 3.1 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is about 180 million yuan.

It is worth mentioning that the project focuses on the research and development and production of sodium ion battery cells. This product has the advantages of low cost, long lifespan, high safety, and high energy density, and is a "popular player" in the new energy storage track. It is widely used in fields such as electricity, transportation, industry, communication, and construction, and is a key technical support for promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality. The project implementation entity is Zhejiang Hu Na Energy Co., Ltd. Through seamless integration of intelligent design, MES intelligent manufacturing execution system, and intelligent warehouse management system, the company aims to create a digital intelligent factory that integrates software and hardware.
